If they are stuck, I use a 6 inch c-clamp, and pound on the c-clamp with a 2 pound sledge, works EVERY time, and still good for the NAPA core charge.

@stairgod May I end up needing new cotter pins?

I have a pack of cotter pins that I got from a parts store. I believe its like $5 for the multi-use pack. I havent run out yet. If you need some, I can bring. Otherwise its probably not a bad idea to invest in one of these packs.

If you want some of mine, can you take a picture of the size that you have now?

Otrattw.com is just a website that sells carling switches and does custom laser etching on them.

Same thing, but Otrattw has more of a selection and will make custom ones too. Plus awesome customer service.

    Can't trust dealerships ever.

I'll poke around parts stores and see what there is. If I don't see any, I'll take pictures of any relevant (or what I think is relevant) cotter pins and let you know.

Generally they can be reused. But yours might be rusted to hell. Might be a good idea to grab some.

Oil was showing about 4" higher than full. Turns out that's a common issue with the 4.0 though. I did an oil change anyway and added just a hair under 5.5 and it's showing normal now. I though I blew a head gasket and had coolant mixed in. Seems to be okay now.

I hope so I need a response from him before 5. I told the guy I'd be heading down at that time and I don't want to screw this guy's day up.

Crankshaft rotates in the sump which could cause splashing... aren't you mechanically inclined? Lol
