They make noise for a long time before they fail. Mine was buzzing for over 500 miles before I replaced it.

Look what we picked up at Cabelas on the way home from Rausch...

Pit Lab mix. Our other Pit mix is named Loki, so we're going to call this little guy Thor.

This makes me feel safer lol...

@stairgod no buzzing here... just a binding sound when turning... but I got a nice wobble out of it that shook the steering wheel when breaking 2 times this weekend... once saturday doing about 65-70 and once sunday doing 60... no play wiggling it but when spinning the wheel it makes a soft binding sound... add the engine power with weight on it when turning and I found my "binding" sound... gonna get the alignment adjusted to bring the caster back to 3 and then put the new hubs on when I can head out to Kevins. I figure the caster adjustment MIGHT put less stress on the bearings... itll be a little bit more straight up and down than what it is now

    Cute pup!

What do you mean you picked it up at cabelas? Were they hosting an adoption day? I've never seen dogs there.

Actually... there was a couple in the store with a litter of 9 puppies in a shopping cart. It wasn't officially sponsored by Cabelas, but all of the staff knew the people and were aware of their presence.

It was kinda fate. We had been talking about getting another dog. We made up our minds for sure on the way to Rausch. Then, we left for home later than we'd planned and almost skipped Cabelas.

Very nice 3rd gen at alignment shop this am. 2" TC LT kit and Fox's. Owner put lift on with 42 miles on the truck. Did it to get to his hunting cabin. Has no interest in offroading for real.

Well that's fucking stupid. I wonder if he even needed anything more than stock to get to his cabin. Either way, it seems it seems like a hell of a waste.

I feel the same way. But then again, his truck, his money. Front bumper looked real tight. And he claims that his flares are the very first ones that Bushwacker made. He did not drive the truck until he got them installed because he did not want mud on the paint. Guessing it is not his DD as it still only has less than 1400 miles on it.

Yeah everyone is entitled to do whatever they want with their things and their money. If you've got the money, I guess fuck it.
I've never anything close to new, so I can't relate to not wanting to get mud on the paint...but maybe if I had a brand new truck, I might feel that way for a little bit. His truck does look damn good though. Best 3rd gen I can recall seeing yet.

Best till I finally receive my skids :) Then I'll make a trip to Rausch and meet up with you guys. I wasn't too scared to get mine a little muddy, I knew exactly what I was intending to do with it when I sold my other trucks to buy this beauty.

Be nice to add a 3rd gen to our group. Then we would have all versions covered. And always good to add new people to the mix. Except for Lloyd maybe.

I was thinking even though I have shitty pro comp rear shocks they actually ride really nice on the road. No off roading with them yet. But I do like the smoothness of the ride

I'm sure you'll be just fine off road. I'm rocking $200 B110's out back and OME Nitrocharger Sports up front.

Although I do admit that they look really cool, you don't need $1000 shocks to wheel Rausch
