Im confused. You ground the switch with no electricity and it lights up? Where the fuck is is getting its power from?

"Whatever you want" is a very broad description. Same gauge wire (as the ground wire) is preferred. Yes butt connector will work fine.

Haha. The lights are wired. The power to the lights is wired. The power for the LED on the switch wasn't wired. I touched the ground to the vehicle and it lit. Maybe it's getting power from the battery since that's hooked up? I'm not an electrical genius. I just try to use common sense when wiring stuff.

Most switches won't light up without a ground wire.

Four wires. Two Red, a green, and a black. I think IIRC I have one red and green going to the lights themselves. They work fine. Then theres another red and a black. Black is ground which leaves the other red to power. Since the lights work I would assume that's wired right. When I didn't connect the other red but touched black to a ground the switches lit up. When I turned them off they shut off. I shut the light off and they lit up again. I think they are supposed to light up dim, and brighten when the power is on. I'm fucked up. Either way, I don't know where to draw power to the LED's on the switch from. And I need wire to lengthen the ground.

So far I haven't found any in or around NJ besides marinas with pumps for boats but then your looking at prices through the roof. When I was in Canada it was all ethanol free and I was getting 22mpg loaded for overlanding vs the 17-18 normally. I wish there was somewhere close by.

Yeah somewhere closer would be nice. It's OK of it a little more spendy than 10% ethanol gasoline.

I'm looking for my small engine equipment. Snowblower, leaf blower, chainsaw, string trimmer, pressure washer, lawn mower, etc.

That 10% ethanol gasoline wreaks havoc on these small engines, even if you use a premium fuel stabilizer.

Do have a small airpot near you? 2years ago when they really messed with the ethanol mixture i would go to the little airport near work and by leaded fuel to mix for 2strokes.Have not had many problems lately with fuel.:notsure:
