He hustled his way up there. I was like . Maybe we should try the other hill? Seems fun too. But I think @Subway4X4 is looking for an excuse to get stuck to test out his winch lol

About time. Those other tires just weren't cutting it.

I agree, however, I was really impressed by their capabilities. Not once I got stuck in the snow or deep water crossings until the hill lol. Bf Goodrich long trails did me fine. I bought the truck with those tires and put 30k on them without any issues in the winter. I just needed bigger and better looking tires :D

They did fine, considering the type of tire they are. But I saw their weakness a few times. You managed past it, but if you plan on wheeling more often, you'll be glad you got a proper set of A/Ts. Tires can definitely bolster or hinder your performance.

285 75 16 with procomp wheels. The Truck Feels great. I can tell how heavy these suckers are, but not a major difference. I'm easy on the pedal, plus I mainly do highway, so shouldn't be bad with mpgs either.

Oh quite a bit bigger than I plan on going when the time comes for new tires. I do almost all short, local trips and thus far have hardly wheeled. I can't really justify bigger tires. I was thinking only slightly bigger than stock. Probably 265/75R16

My truck came with that size, not sure if it is oem. Besides, if all goes well I plan on taking a trip to moab come 2018 once I regear and install some arb lockers. I have always wanted to take a trip there and now that I have a truck capable of getting there lol might as well make it more fun

As far as I know, 265/70R16 is the stock. 265/75 is the same width (10.43in) but is an inch taller (32in vs 31in). If there were 265/75 as a stock option, I don't recall hearing of it.

If those are your plans, then by all means it is well worth it. I like seeing people buy what makes sense for their budget and intended uses, and not just (but in addition to) their wants.

Very valid point. I unfortunately have a vehicle and tires that match their intended use 1% of the time. I should have a DD and a trail rig. 26k a hear is a lot to dive a modded truck. And I need to keep things sensible. So no 37s...lol.

While it doesn't really help your situation, at least you're aware you're overspec'd. But hey, your truck looks badass and performs great.
I do not personally have the need, money, know-how, nor recklessness to go all out on my truck. I am currently, and will continue to be modest with it. I will never play with the big dogs.

lol true, there are plenty of cases not so unlike Craig's. But I'm not nearly as into all of this as a lot of y'all seem to be. It's my nature. I don't really get into stuff. I'll go a little further than I am not and have fun, but I highly doubt I will want to go nuts. And even if I wanted to, the money is just not there. The cost of needed parts and the increased cost of ownership as you mod further and further is just too much for me.
