NJ B.S. Thread

After he issued me and briefly/barely explained the unclear plate ticket I apologized and admitted fault/confusion. Again I make and admit mistakes like anyone else. Like I said he wouldn't even explain why he issued me the other tickets or let me finish my sentences after handing them to me. Im not some punk 20 something, I'm a grown 30 year old adult who is also a public servant and a military member. I understand respect, courtesy, etc. And also understand when that same respect/courtesy isn't given. At the end of the day they answer to the taxpayers just like I do and am.

thanks. best I can do is be honest and plead my case. but we live in a broken corrupt world so not hoping for the best/fairness either.

@ZachMX where were you? Were you on the highway or like a county road? By me, NJSP only patrol the Parkway, TP and interstate Highways... and I know that when they themselves are going down the highway they hate seeing people ride the left lane for long periods of time.... I have gotten pulled over many times for this... but have been lucky and always driven off with just warnings

 

I was on a county road, Monmouth and defense access/Georgetown road. Was in the left only because I know that that road merges from 2 lanes to one after the light since its my daily commute. Someone alluded to there being two troopers at the time which always makes it worse I guess, IDK.

 

Seems like you're in a thread where you're not known, doing exactly what you said you wouldn't do...

Were you there when he was pulled over? Are you one of the officers? Unless the answer to either of those is "yes" then you don't know the situation any better than any of the rest of us. Offering advice and suggestions about how to act when pulled over is one thing, but arguing with a member and blatantly disrespecting him does not make you welcome, or helpful.


There are good cops and bad cops. Most people have had good interactions and bad confrontations. Assuming that it's never the fault of the officer is ignorant.
