Fuckin a right!

I worked at crested butte, co for a winter. After that I now HAVE to go west for a week every winter. So far I've been to crested butte, copper, keystone, Breckenridge, arapahoe basin, Jackson hole, grand targhee, whistler blackcomb, park city, the canyons, solitude, Brighton, and mt hood (in the summer).

It's an addiction but to me it's the most fun I can ever have and the best vacations I can ever go on.

 

My 1st time ever on a snowboard, my brother took me to Killington in VT and tricked me into getting on the lift that takes you to their highest peak and then told me... "See ya at the bottom"

I learned at Bear Creek. Took the lift to the top and made my way down a green trail. Best way to learn IMO

Big sky was awsome too

 

So was batchelor, hood, and just about every mtn arouNd tahoe

 

But its a 100* f ing degrees out
And time for the beach

 

I've always wanted to ride in blackcomb.... My brother went a few years back for one week and ended up staying 2...

 

Yea bunny hills don't have enough of a slope to teach you how to ride. You need something steeper so you can keep your balance and learn to carve.


Whistler is my favorite. One day when i was there it was raining at the base but after 3 lifts to get to the top it was bluebird skies above the clouds, and snowing in the clouds. 3 different environments to ride in all in one peak to base ride. I can't wait to go again. Girlfriend needs to get her record expunged so she can get into canada, so hopefully next winter.

Are you the one skiing or boarding?

I want to learn tricks boarding.... But prolly I'm too old to learn....

 

I want to be able to 270 out because I can't land switch. I never learned spins and every time I try I bust ass. I really should put more time into learning new stuff.

Boarding. And yeah I kind of haven't learned new shit in a long time. So i just do the same shit over and over.

 

Haha just practice riding switch.. Once you get used to it it's easy. Anytime I'm riding with someone slower than me I just ride switch. It opens up a world of possible tricks

 

There have been days when I go out and I am just like I am going to only ride switch today. Then I bust ass like 15 times and give up.

 

At this point in my life I'm so broken that if I tried to snowboard again I'd end up paralyzed.

 

You have to try it.
