Mine were sub $20. Bit of a PITA to set, but hit pressure consistently

    Everything TW members recommend
I have these exact same ones. I've set them to 15 PSI and they hit that pressure consistently. I just screw them on, go shoot the shit with other peeps trying to air down with a little twig, 5 minutes later, done.

I should probably re-adjust the PSI down a litle more. Maybe 12 PSI

Edit: It's a PIA to get the setpoint PSI exactly right. But once you set it, it's good to go.

You don't remove it completely. And you screw the ARB one onto the valve stem, and then unscrew the core.

    @HolyHandGrenade has one

The arb one is nice... and you wouldn't not be able to get it back in... it screws onto the stem lines up on the shrader valve unscrews it lets air out you screw it back in and unscrew the deflator from the stem...and im pretty sure it somehow threads into the inside of the deflator when you take out the valve

Screw on deflators work best. Put em on, walk away. Come back and they are done.

I think you are over-complicating your explanation a lil

The tool itself doesnt thread to anything inside of the stem, it just removes the valve... but while in use its always threaded to outter thead of the stem. So while in use the valve it's always secured in....
***to me, the tool has a very positive feel to it when using it. You can feel the valve going in and out. So I don't think you could think the valve has been properly reinstalled and then see it fly away when you remove it tool. If someone has had this issue I have yet to see it or hear about it.
On the other hand, I have heard of people not being careful and cross-threading and/or stripping the valve.

Anything special about this? I missed out on what went down but I already have a bunch of normal style valve stems in my spares bag.

Umm...yeah...bout that. I'm actually sorta shit at putting stickers on :anonymous:
Money can't buy skill I suppose. Gotten better but considering how many I've applied, I don't think my skill matches haha.
But! I know how to put stickers on well! So if ever have to put on, I'd be glad to teach ya. :)
If it's good sticker weather, I'm always down for stickers.

    Looking good Lloyd
I really like my ARB deflator. I can't see how I'd ever loose a stem with it. It has a gauge. No setup required. I can tweek my air pressure if I want to without resetting the preset pressure. Not like it's slow. The valve core is removed form the stem. It's fast enough.

As far as time goes? There's always plenty of time at RC while waiting for the stragglers to show up, sign in, remove their thumbs from their asses, etc.

I put a little bit of pressure, turn it backwards until I feel it seat property.

I can show up late, screw on all 4 deflators, go sign in and pay, stick my thumb up my ass, and still be ready to wheel in no time.
