    has anyone taken apart their dash? is it fairly easy and straightforward? I assembled the parts to swap to a 2014 tacoma touchscreen radio for my 2009.

    It's pretty straight forward. I just did the same swap on my brothers truck. Start by popping out the climate controls the. You can get the radio surround off. Once that's off you can see the bolts to get the radio out. I didn't add the USB or the microphone though so there might be a few more steps I didn't do. Quite a few threads on here and vid on YouTube on the subject though.

    i tried a search on here, too many threads on this site to look through! luckily, one I came across talked about the mods and tutorials section of the forums. I never knew that existed! this freaking site is yuuuge!!
