    cheaper full suspension bike, heavy. I believe they are in the $500 range new.

    If you want full suspension I would look into a Specialized or Giant. You can find a used one in your price range.

    I feel that like I lose momentum with rear shocks... But Im sure that an adjustable rear shock fixes that

    wut do you need disc brakes and full suspension for on easy trails?

    seems silly to me for someone who is broke to spend $500-1k on a bike, but what do I know.

    I have had my Gary Fisher for over a decade and it never failed me on any trails (with no rear suspension or fancy disc brakes) :p

    You are correct. Up until last year I was doing 10-15 miles a day thus my fat this year. When the taco is fixed ill be back. Time to trim the fat again.
