Why because I dont know where I want my truck? I'm young, indecisive, and don't have a permanent job.. why would I build my truck for rock crawling when I may live in the desert? And why build and LT truck if I'm going to live here? Say what you want but I think its a smart choice to wait and see..

And if you are saying because I was going to o get rid of it that factors in too

 

Cool.... I'll see if I can get a map of the trails at the local library or municipal building

 

so why burden us with all the indecisiveness it if you don't even know what you're going to do

I havent asked any questions about my truck since deciding to keep it except how to figure out where the squeak comes from and if a jack would hold the weight. Sorry next time I'll keep those to myself

 

Silly. You should be concerned with crappy oe muffler bearings failing

Do a mock up with string and only buy a cable as long as you need it. Any extra is a waste and will screw up your readings.

I have a 8' or 9' running from my center consul to my rear bumper.

 

Im keeping my 4s on 6.1.2 jailbroken until I get the 5s. If I want, I can get all the ios7 "goodies" via Cydia packages.

You basically run it under the bedrail and dremmel some of the bedrail out (parts you can not see)

 

can't now. my bedrails are held on by my bedracks. I had my antenna there years ago

when I can Ill post pics, but I can show you sat about where I put it

 

I bet you will need at least 15'. I needed every inch of an 18' coax to get from ashtray position to BAMF tailgate mount. 20' would of been ideal, but I made it work with 18'

 

I'd be surprised if 7' made it out of the cab

 

Where are planning to mount the antena.... By tailgate end or closer to the cab?

 

I was amazed you needed so much. different trucks different methods of running I guess.



here you go hunter - best I can do for now

 

run it out the bottom of the cab - plenty of holes and a strait shot to the bed.

I have about 1' of cable in the cab and thats it. I also shielded the cable

 

I took a class in college for it and quite honestly it wasn't worth it. I would put money on it that guys that are self-taught could weld as well if not better than I can.
