Hmm, I see. Well I guess it's like oil then. Looks aren't that great of an indicator. Looks bad well before it's actually bad.

Didn't happen to notice whether or not it smelled burnt. But I'd put my money on yes. I always overgrease. Pump that shit until all the old is out. Otherwise, you're really only doing half of the job.

Oh yeah. Mine cracked real loud, and it had plenty of godknowswhat in it. As good as it felt knowing I was getting rid of it, I was also not happy to see/hear what came out.

Does the Mobtown Skids block access to any of the grease zerks? I'll find out tomorrow, I guess.

Mine will be at my house when I get home too. My wife is going to be pissed she's going to have to carry those in herself. Haha

They do not. I was able to reach all of Joe's relatively easily while he was parked in my driveway.
IIR the hardest one to reach was the front one where it comes out of the transfer case.

Yes. Greased them not that long ago but last wheeling trip ripped a Zerk out of the rear u joint, so that one was toast. And the middle one was broken, so I replaced all three. Thanks to @HolyHandGrenade for letting me use his garage after hours!

So today has been a shit show... got out of work at 1 which was nice. Came home and opened the tent to find my sunglasses in there that I lost last fall... I then im outside playing with my rc cars and my roommate come shome and brings his dog (chocolate lab) and his gf's dogs (2 boston terriers) outside... one has been sick and was getting really bad, 14 years old and just deteriorating health... well the pup went and laid in the garage floor and just called it quits right there :( saddest thing ever. And ive had lots of dogs. Never had to deal with the death of a dog. We always knew when it was time to just put the dog down. Needless to say its not a good day at home today. :(

That's got to be somber. I'm sure everyone's day just got a lot worse upon finding that.

Really sorry for you Hunter. I was really expecting the post to go something like one of the dogs chewed up the sunglasses you'd just found or chewed up an rc car.

Sad to hear that, sucks losing a dog, basically family, no matter how it happens. At least it seems it wasn't a seemingly painful way out. Papa bless.
