I just bought a new setup the other day. I used to skate and wanted to get back into it. Realize I'm terrified AF to skate now. Haha.

    FS: brand new Powell skateboard.

No offense to you Matt but when I do gears I plan on driving down to ECGS... and taking a nice slow drive back home stopping to fish along the way

And changing the gear oil on the road after 500 miles too?
Better to pay to ship the third and clamshell here, install them with Ant, and then go fishing

You can do that if you want to do probably 20+ hrs of driving (if you do the break in procedure right) over what I've gotten down to less than 4 hrs of work. The back is as simple as changing a transfer case basically and I've gotten a good system down for doing the front which would probably be even easier with your 4 cyl.

You just have to know how to do it and have a system. I'd probably have it out in less than an hour with how quick I did the last one. I'm starting to stock all the extra parts that could ever go wrong in the process also. ECGS ships the fronts without drain/fill plugs and some of the older (or previously neglected) trucks have plugs that strip so I've got some of those coming to me as I just used the last one I had out of extra cores. I have extra driveshaft bolts and an extra complete front Unit with the Add actuator and all wiring and hosing. I've got an extra hex type "cap nut" for the back of the IFS unit. I also cover the core charge for anyone who is having them installed thru me seeing as I have to ship the cores back.

I don't think shipping was even that bad, don't quote me on this but I think the last pallet they sent me had 4 3rd members/clamshells on it and other stuff from ECGS and it was still only like 95$

Truck freight would tend to be cheaper per lb. For what they weigh, Fed Ex is probably over $100 for a clam and third. But still cheaper than gas to drive down there.
Plus Hunter's BFF can do a rear in 30 minutes with a coffee break....:boink:

This. Unless you are paying ECGS to install it which will cost you much more than just getting the cores shipped.

ECGS is 450 door to door roughly from me. Plus even if it wasn't I have friends that live all along the Coast... afterall I am in the Coast Guard...
