That works well, I'm only staying overnight Friday into Saturday myself.

What kind of fire extinguisher do I need buy ?

 

For your truck? That depends on how much you want to pay. Assuming you aren't looking to spend big money on something like Halotron, standard BC is typically recommended. A ratings on extinguishers are for things like paper and wood, which aren't a real issue in vehicles and the chemical or w/e makes more of a mess. ABC are good for your home, but I'd suggest BC for a vehicle.

One that will put out a fire?
All types of fire. Small enough that you can carry it to the fire, large enough to use in defense if a bear attacks. Two if you leak lots of flammables. Three if Floyd or Jimmy are around.

 

Halon or CO2 but they are pricey. I want a Halon to install inside my cab.

 

Halon is the way to go.
