    It definitely did, had water in the headlights and up to my butt sitting in the drivers seat
    :(
    Yea no good...glad I didn't fry anything else and glad I'm not still stuck there. Winch saved me but whole inside of the truck is trashed

    Bummer man. Sounds way deeper than my sub maneuver.
    Your starter may be fine, I gave mine a good rinse and it spun right up after a few hours in the sun.
    I never tried that with an alternator.
    If you haven't already, just pull the seats and the carpet, soak in water with laundry detergent, rinse six times and dry. Worked for me. Those plastic kiddy pools at Wal-Mart work well.
    I'd try something similar with the seats, and use a carpet sucker or shop vac.
