@04yota Congratulations, man. Mods are cool, but little ones are more interesting.

Congrats dude. You can sleep when your dead. My wife is pregnant with our first and I couldn't be more excited for everything about it.

    Thanks Mike.
I'm definitely thrilled about being a new parent. My truck will still see mods, but slowly. I just wanna make sure I make it as reliable as can be at this moment. Also I traded my wife's scion tc for a 08 Honda crv with my father in law. :D
No need for a new car

Smart move. There are plenty of safe vehicles with interior room that you won't have to pay off for the next X number of years. With a newborn, you'll already have a lot of expenses. No need to add a new vehicle on top of it.

    Thanks man and congrats!!
All I can say is enjoy the pregnancy as much as her. You Def get more attached to your wife and you realize the moment she is giving birth that nothing you have ever done "ever" comes even close to the pain they endure that day.

Yes indeed. She told me a few months ago to get rid of the truck since it's not practical for a kid. I was like fuck no! It's paid off!

So glad you didn't cave. Too often, guys say ok and get rid of the cool vehicle they love for something uninteresting but practical. But there's no reason you can't have both.

That's what I said about my motorcycle a couple decades ago.
    I lost that argument.

Exactly! My bike is practically half way out the door at this point. I'm just gonna lay low for the next few months and kinda get the topic away from her head

My wife never said anything about the bike, I just ended up giving it away, as I quit riding it and got tired of looking at it taking up space in the garage. 20 years later I'm playing with my grandson. It's all about choices. I think it was a 76 Honda 750Four. I had a Triumph 750, I think 74, but the vibrations on 500mi poker runs left me numb. I had a 650 Bonneville before that, but I was fixing it every other weekend. I also raced a Bultaco 125 Sherpa T on the flat track up until they paved the Manassas track. Riding was a lot more fun when people knew how to drive cars.

The problem is you don't enjoy the infant times until they're gone and then you wish you had it back.
