Catalytic propane heaters are designed to work indoors. They have features to make sure that they are safe for indoor use. Catalytic combustion does not produce carbon monoxide. It’s the leaking of propane into the enclosed space and the actual burning of combustible materials that is the safety concern. Make sure there are at least two smallish fresh air openings to cross-ventilate, hopefully across from each other.

Which is why I said needs cross-ventilation.

And having a CO monitor won’t help because their is no CO produced in catalytic combustion.

I've got a decent sized fan in the ceiling vent in the attic and the attic door is cracked, so I guess air is being drawn into and back out of the attic. There are a couple vents that go outside in the attic too though. Chris thought I was overreacting when I brought 3 different fans into the garage lol

But like YOU said, oxygen is consumed. So ventilation is REQUIRED Joe. I don’t want peeps to think it’s optional.

Unless you don’t breathe oxygen, or you’re in a big enough enclosed space that there is plenty of contained oxygen for occupants and for heater combustion.

Nope. Absolutely not. No CO is produced or will build up.

Carbon Dioxide (aka CO2 is harmless), water and heat are the products created in catalytic combustion.

That is why your CO ( not CO2, as you state) detector will NEVER go off.

Joe- You need to realize the difference between CO and CO2

You are exhaling CO2 right now. So are you saying that your “CO2 Detector” will be measuring a persons CO2 output?

    I’m confused now.

CO comes out of your Tacoma’s exhaust.

A catalytic propane heater will not produce CO.

So I just ordered in different reverse lights flush mount style the I'm gonna install into my tailgate. And pick up a 24" curved light bar for the front bumper.
