You’re welding that to the top or bottom of the crossmember?

Looks solid to me. The skid sits a little lower, so what? Right?

 

I welded a 3/8" grade 8 nut to a waser, drilled te frame out, and put te nut inside te frame, welded te waser to frame. So it spaces te skid down by te waser tickness.

I carry a spyderco and have for years. It’s like a razor blade. This bench made knife seems to retail for over $100 and is USA made. For free..shit I’ll take it.

 

Spyderco is a good blade. And Benchmade is awesome.
