@Chux if the weather forecast stays this way I’m going to be in IBSP this Sunday. I can do a pickup if needed.

Haven’t seen him but talk to him here and there. He’s been busy finishing up school/training for career goals.

Appreciate it. First need confirmation of purchase from @PyritePirateBill. Second I just got into South Carolina for the night, heading to Florida for a bit.

Deal is done. Thanx everyone for the TW express offers. Any help with that would be greatly appreciated. If I can get to NJ before then, I'll try

Hahaha. You try it out yet? Seems like the battery saws are a growing market.

Side note I figured out where I’m gonna mount my saws. I have room for a small one and one slightly bigger just in case

Nice. Didn’t know you had built a box. Looks good.

I tried it out on a couple of big-ish logs out back. Cuts nice enough. Good enough for a trail emergency anyway.

I found it up in NH on the HD clearance rack. $86.50. Normally $199. I was going to get the 60V Dewalt. Figured at this price, I’d give the 40v Ryobi a try first. It is brushless too. Not sure why it was clearanced out.

I like this! Would have liked a half height cap actually. But not sure who else would be in the market for that. Interested to see the inside

So this is my “had to get it done in two days including paint, super rushed, half assed version”. Basically I extended the bed rack for my rtt to the full length of the bed. Then I was gonna skin it with aluminum but local prices are through the roof right now so for the time being I used sanded ply wood. Close to cabinet grade but only a few buck more per sheet than regular junk plywood. Skinned the rack and put the rtt all the way to the front instead of centered on the bed. Left about 14 inches behind the rtt for more storage.

I did this and added tabs for a padlock on my swingout tailgate for security on a recent trip to Miami. I figured a cordless saws all would make short work of getting in but a fiberglass cab or even aluminum wouldn’t make a deference in all reality. Nothing got stolen so I guess it worked lol. I fell in love with the cleanish, dryish storage (half assed, weather/dust resistant not proof:p) I’d like to redo it with aluminum and make the sides open like windoors but at the same time that’s a lot of money and time for looks when this works just fine. Also I’d like to get rid of the bed altogether so I don’t really want to dump more funds into this one.
