Trying to guess based on rig's, but I'll take a stab.

Who's that, Ant, Boyd, and I am assuming one is pAp and BGR? I think I joined/bought my taco not long after you killed your alternator.

 

Yupp I’d say you are correct on Ant, Boyd and BGR has the roof racks, not sure those two silver sports tho.. curious who’s is dirty AF and who’s was clean lol.

I joined TW when @XXXX was still around

 

Left to right I believe it is:
Ant @PSUTaco85, Boyd @oswego @XXXX @XXXXX etc. etc., Me, BGR @brutalguyracing, Chris @pAP, and Eddie @DdayIsNear

 

Oh and I didn't kill my alternator, still works just fine. All it needed was a mud bath.

Edit: Actually I did have to replace it a year or two ago. But that's a solid 4-5 years after that incident.

That trip is a pretty good example of what a piece of work Eddie is. We actually both killed our alternators that same day. I took mine out, took it apart, cleaned the muck out of it, let it dry over night, put it back in in the morning and was good to go. I think I asked for a hand here or there basically for a light or set of eyes, but pretty much just took care of it myself.

Eddie on the other hand... He convinced another member, I think it was Joel @muddin , who was showing up that night to go out of his way to stop and pick up a replacement alternator for him. Paying for it out of his own pocket I might add. Then stood around while like three guys changed his alternator for him. I was a bit busy with mine, but I don't recall a showering of thanks going around. And I think he pretty much left as soon as it was fixed, if not very early the next morning. Then it took, I want to say a year, of public harassment on the forum to get him to pay Joel back for the alternator.

 

I heard this story from another member exactly as you telling it.....

 

Yeah, he's a douche. I met him early on, when I first joined. Went to his place to help install his lift with some other guys. Doesn't offer anything - no lunch, no beer - but showing me the renovations on his house and talking about other plans like he's got $$$. Yeah, you're loaded dude, that's why you bought retread tires. Never spoke to him again.

 

Seems like he’s had the same impression on pretty much everyone.
That’s what was so funny about him & Boyd going at each other on here - Boyd saw right through him and delighted in calling him on his shit.
