Anyone want to duck hunt in the afternoon tomorrow?

 

All Pro bumpers for 1st gens are just fine. If you want a basic tube bumper I think they are the way to go. I'm pretty sure that's what John had 3-4 vehicles ago. the one thing I didn't like about their front bumper was that it required using their IFS skid since they moved the mounting points, I think they may have changed that though.

He got banned then requested to be deleted.

 

Banned. He's working like 80hrs a week. Talked to him last night. He's off Saturday but trying to get his truck running for the clean up Sunday.

Not really sure but to be honest I went with them since it was more affordable. It's 3/16s just like budbuilt though

 

What AP says on their website and what they sell can be different. For a long time they were slinging overseas steel as 3/16" when in fact it was thinner "guage" steel.

Like every company some stuff is great and some not so much. Their old school sliders were total crap. I seen them bend under a persons body weight.

 

I'd be really pissed if its some POS steel. If it is then I'll contact them and complain

 

Have to agree with this. I looked at AP stuff pretty hard initially due to the apparent "size" and "experience" behind the company.
Do enough research into them and the feedback from "real world usage" and it will give you pause.
I have one AP item on my truck - the U bolt flip.
I found no negative feedback on that product.

Best bet really is to got to some meets and see the products face to face. Speak with the owners and get feedback.
Then make a educated purchasing decision.

Yeah Tundy had the 4.7L, and the crank pulley, you need a puller to get it off. All the parts stores rent them for free, with deposit of course.
