Floor jack under the corner of the bumper didn't work. All I did was lift the truck. I think my shop has a four foot pipe wrench. If that could grab the bumper I might be able to twist it back into position. Also using a big ass cheater bar.

To all the head unit pros..

I’m looking to delete my rear view mirror but only hold onto it because the backup cam that pops up in the head unit screen does help me out sometimes. What options are there for a headunit compatible with stock reverse cam? If all works out I’m thinking bout mounting my scan gauge up there..

Also anybody having any mod days coming up? @chad_chinchilla could use some advice installing his CB. I was going to give him a hand but my hands are full at the moment..

Can you grab it with your hilift? Similar in theory to your thoughts on using a big ass pipe wrench.

If you go with a factory HU just make sure it's not JBL. The sound will be very low due to not having an amp. I think you'd need a 2014+ to have a plug and play HU w/ backup cam.

Oh update on that, the mount won’t fit with my current wiring situation so I gotta take the cap off to run the wires under the plastic and hope the mount for the antenna will fit in my tailgate without the wires in the way

I paid $157 from Ebay during their 15% Off day. Normally they are $185 or so (Pair). I have to park next to a Pro to compare. I kinda feel that clear lens might be a bit "white" if you look at the edges. Besides for that, they are ok.

I’m sure your rear view mirror is about as useless as mine, but iirc it’s actually required by law to have a rear view mirror and 1 outside mirror. For what that’s worth..

As far as connecting a headunit to the back up cam, I found a thread about it somewhere on here and wired it up.
