@MY50cal I don’t know what the previous owner was transporting in the bed but there’s some heavy duty cleaners I’ve seen that will etch glass. Looks like prolonged exposure to such chemicals.
It’s my understanding that there is no way to reverse that.

I was actually trying to source what to use as a locking stitch, need it for the dog leash as well.. so thanx!

I was thinking bout using my braided fishing line which is stronger than mono fishing line..

Got any more info on lock stitching? Ike what diameter stitch line is commonly used with 3/8” line?

 

is that what it looks like after you've cleaned it up best you can? You could maybe try some of that windshield crack repair stuff? like a lot of it lol. but Im not sure what the white stuff is there in the pits

 

I used some Spider Wire I had laying around. Really doesn't need to be strong as it only holds the splice in position while it is not under load. Braided line should work perfectly.

 

I guess 5 years is a good interval to replace lawnmower drive and blade pulley belts.


Are there a standard lengths and profiles for belts? The lawn mower shop is gonna rape me if I buy from them. Can I get them elsewhere for cheap?

 

Aren't there tensioners on all of them? Could maybe get roughly the same size at a place like tractor supply.

Kind of cool, but on the steering column it only really blocks the odometer with no exposed wires.

 

That worked out perfect Tim. Just remember if it has a wireless remote to put in fresh batteries in.

 

This has no exposed wires and allows me to decided if I wanna monitor it or not. I love having options
