Anyone have some cheap 17s laying around? Preferably not Sport wheels, but I’ll take what I can find.

    It's getting there.
So I went out to that Aoaa park this past weekend with the company off road consulting. Second trail in the morning was like an ATV trail and I put some new body lines in my truck. Didn’t really want to do that on a ‘greens only’ trail ride. I was pretty pissed. The guy even gave me a spot, and telling me how it should be fine ‘ you’re like the same size as a 4door jk’. I was pissed. There were plenty of fun wide open trails in the afternoon. It was such bullshit we went down that one, even after he told me in the morning that nothing we were doing today would bang my truck up.

Pin stripes and body damage are part of the game. After awhile you won't even notice them .

Sounds like you should stay on the pavement. Not specifically trying to be a dick here.

But... you don't go to an off road park then post how you're pissed about scratching your truck. You need fewer fucks or a different hobby.

I was fine with pin stripes, but the trail we went down was just a bullshit boring dirt road with no obstacles other than this tight 180 turn between these two 3in diameter trees. It was fucking pointless to put dents in my truck for that. All the trails that were interesting or technical for suspension with off camber obstacles and specific lines had clearance around them from bullshit. I wasn't interested in pretending I was in the Darien gap and would never have chosen to go down that trail if it wasn't for this expert's advice. That's what I'm pissed about. Some jeep guy who I paid to take me around some green trails putting me in a situation that we had a conversation at the beginning of the day agreeing I wasn't going to be in.

It was pointless damage on a pointless trail.
