She has no clue what she wants to do. It can span engineering to healthcare, tech, history to art. I just want her laptop to cover anything and be fast and reliable for at least four years. Looking at the new 6-core i9 2.9 GHz processor.

Did you use Parallels for the windows programs?

You say that jokingly but I actually have a potato cannon... It can shoot fast and hard

 

I hate rust. Started putting 5100’s in last night just to find that my whole front end (at least drivers side) is basically fused together. Going to just go ahead and put in new upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, and sand/paint the spindles while I’m here I guess. I’ll be looking forward to getting UCAs just to get rid of the rest of the crusty bits aside from the axles themselves.

Similar experience with my wife's 2009 Mac pro. No issues in 9 years, just recently upgraded hard drive to a larger ssd, and added ram (photo editing was getting slow) .

Does anyone get their truck detailed anywhere? Or do you just do it yourself?

Only one solution to fix that.

 

I do it myself since mostly where I go is salt and / or sand and want to make sure it's done right. However, I just had surgery and can't drive for a while so I called a mobile detailer. They never responded, showed up, etc. They took my money though.

 

@avw4x4 this ^ you already have fj80 axles accessible. Just sayin.
