Confirmed. I hit the reverse camera button on the way home tonight. P0705 immediately.

I’m so glad I stumbled across that thread this morning. No WONDER it was intermittent! :D

OK. Pulled this connector off, sprayed with CRC Quick Dry Electronic Cleaner and added dielectric grease for good measure.

If the code P0705 comes up again, then its probably the Park-Neutral Safety Switch attached to the Tranny.
:fingerscrossed: it's not. Coz that's a lot more work, time and money.

Ok. Need suggestions on sealing this giant ass rubber grommet that brings the fat ass wiring harness in from the engine bay through the firewall and into the DS kick panel.

Now that I stare at it, it does seem like it’s a low location in the engine bay and that I could have easily reached the height of this grommet in many of my past water crossings.

Fill the fucker with some sort of non hardening high temp silicone maybe?

Assuming it is a simple contact switch with just two wires, all you have to do is cut and connect them. Or pull the connector and throw a jumper wire in it.
If it has more than two wires than there is some funky juju going on.

    Can you just make two.

Or at least make a set and give me the plans, measurements, templates, material / hardware list, pics, etc.

    I need it bad.

It’s pretty bad. When I took off the grill, it looked really bad.
