I’m pretty sure they can custom order things, but I’m not 100% positive

 

This, ladies and gentlemen, is why you should never use a plasma cutter barefoot.

 

I went to Fastenal thinking I could order stainless spacers, but the longest one was only 9/16”. I was kind of surprised.

Last resort I can weld steel to stainless, but would rather not.

The springs I got were like 14 inches eye to eye. The trailer I have has full sized leafs on it. Wasn’t going to work.

 

Sames. So much goodness there.

 

I welded that sucker all the way across. The adjustable die is almost a necessity too.

Easy boys. Not done yet. Those were initial welds. I am going to go back and get it all welded. I tend to go apeshit and weld way too much at once and warp shit. So being overly cautious on this.

 

Was not giving you shit more just reinforcement of thr adjustable die and post video for Floyd to see what it was.

These things are great, they’re actually called pan and box brakes because you can move the fingers so you can bend a pan or box shape unlike a normal brake.

 

Damn. Those 1st Gens must be really fragile
