It looks like it just bolts to that angle on the front in the picture

 

Cut out the existing frame horns to accept a 2" square tube. 2" receiver that will bolt on to 2" tube(weld it on). Done.

 

Make it longer, that should work.

 

No H- Will 2” square tube that’s 6-7 feet long be strong enough to withstand the torsional stress?

 

As long as you properly support it, it shouldn’t have an issue

 

It’s the little things..

Installed the volt meter yesterday. Pretty straight forward tapping off of the 12v plug port I have next to it. I did notice once installed it was 0.1 off from the volt gauge behind my center console. I think that has to do with the length of wire needed to feed power to the rear of the truck off the blue sea under the hood. Overall happy with it and shoulda did it a while ago..






Went out fishing after dark as the tide was filling in. Took some homemade white chili with me for dinner. Setup at the back of the truck it was great to use the new mini mod and monitor the battery voltage at a glance.

 

Christmas lights on again. Added a wreath this year.

 

I thought I was the only one here redneck enough to put light on my truck lol

Should be no issue for the weight it will see.
If it concerns you, can always go up to 2-1/2" tube. That will be a huge increase it rigidity. Run it back to at least two feet from where the angled frame meets and weld in a piece of angle iron(or square tube) between them to grab the end of it.
