Are you planning on making some sort of wheel wells on the flat bed? Or just gonna keep it straight?

No wheel wells. There’s no need for them. What’s there is the shape. Just needs finish welding, capping, the deck, and a few finishing touches.

anyone try an electric fan? i was looking around on LROR and this says "improved horsepower and better fuel economy"

I can't imagine it will actually make any difference, but I'm curious if anyone has any feedback.

E fans definitely cut down on parasitic drag.
Obviously the gain will not be much especially considering our trucks have a fan clutch. E fan could definitely be helpful in a low speed crawling situation in that it runs at a set speed not governed by engine rpm.
Drawbacks are cost, requiring a fan controller, and wiring it. Also the need to turn it off for a deep water crossing. And remembering to turn it off to dunk and back on afterward.

 

I get there 20 mins after they go on sale still couldn't get single digits.
