I thought so too, some of the other ones like the shelby video was very well done. Heck, even the Saab one was more thorough than the Tacoma one. Seemed rushed IMO

 

Very much so and the buff horse thing was way overplayed and he threw a sales pitch for his lightning shirts. Along with what mike said about the video clips not matching the generation he was talking about a bunch of times

 

Toyota going from a loud crunchy taco (1st/2nd gen) to a much quieter soft taco (3rd gen) had me rolling tho

Edit: just skids because I wanted to make it easier for them. Also removed my cap but that was to repair the rust issues under the bed caps.

The dealership also installed new energy suspension body mount bushings that I provided when the did the swap at no charge.

Also got a ton of spare shit just given to me that they didn’t need for the swap.

I put the axle with 6-5.5” bolt circle hubs in the Southwest cart, but before hitting the order/pay buttons, I sent a quick message to SW

They replied back that their 6-5.5” bolt pattern doesn’t work with the Tacoma 6-5.5” bolt pattern?

WTF?

Did I just get a stupid reply from a moron from SW?

The 6-5.5" bolt circle is not the same bolt pattern as a Toyota Tacoma.

Yeah. 2nd Gen OEM TRD wheels with 33” ST-Maxx’s

I looked at the current axle - they look good. But the hubs and bearings looked shot. Plus I would need a spare trailer wheel/tire. And new tires since current is kinda rotted.

So decided that new axle/hub/bearings is probably the less expensive way to go since I already have 5 or 6 extra OEM wheels and ST-Maxx’s
