Nice! I had to abandon that plan. I was dragged down to the in-laws in PA this weekend and won't be back for a few days. Raincheck!

Has anyone had any dealings with DCH Brunswick Toyota service?

DCH Freehold did my Tcase, Trans, and front diff last year when I had my surgery and couldn't do it myself. They were priced well and did good work. Can't speak for Brunswick though.

I had them do a trans flush and fill Dec of last year before I deployed to Afghanistan.

I drove it around for a week before dropping it off in SC for the family to watch over. In total 1500 miles were put on the truck the whole year.

When I returned home and took it out for a drive it would lunge into gear from a stop in 1st or reverse. So I took a quick look underneath and the pan was wet.

Called DCH Brunswick Toyota and got a nice greeting promising they’d take care of everything, etc. This woman Amy told me a dealer to take it to and gave me her direct line for the dealer to contact her.

I took it in, they had to add 4 quarts, bearing in mind the pan only holds 3. So they essentially had to do a flush again and told me the plug was only finger tight. They wrote that in the system as well.$189, all said and done.

Long story short, now DCH is claiming no fault and won’t do a thing to help. But of course they gave me that “thanks for your service” cliche BS. They say almost a year went by so who knows what happened, but ignore the 1500 mile fact. Plus they have a 1year warrantee on service. I was under that when the problem presented itself.

Why is it worth it to lose me as a customer forever over such a simple mistake that I thankfully caught? Ruins the whole Toyota experience.

I was running out of time and the DIY flush procedure didn’t sound very appealing to me.

These places are only as good as the people who work there. Whenever I drop my truck off I re watch everything on my dash CAM and save the video. I had three guys from Mavis drooling over my truck a few weeks ago but they were playing w/ all the buttons.

Not Brunswick, but other DCH dealers when truck hunting last year.

Funny, I had awful experiences at the DCH dealers in NJ. Freehold easily taking the cake for worst car buying experience I've ever had. I can't speak to their service department though.

I did. The guy was helpful, but they can only compel dealerships to do certain things, mostly sales related.

He submitted my complaint to them and their customer relations rep is required to call you within a day. Well, she did and said the service department is looking into the matter and more or less hung up.
