@Hawk373 sorry to hear about that. Definitely a shitty situation. I have no trust for dealerships after how I was treated with my tacoma. I ended up winning a lemon law case, but now I won’t let anyone work on my vehicles.

 

This was pretty much my experience with toyota when my frame swap was done at Towne Toyota.

Aside from my free 25k of oil changes, this was my first instance.

Goes a long with my Jeep Cherokee experience when I had a rattle at startup and shut down. They said bent rod from hydro lock. I said, no, that’s bullshit. They said eat a dick and pay us 5k for a new engine. A local shop pulled the trans, torqued the 4 fly wheel bolts and I drove it away 3 days later. (Abridged story)
But to quote their tech “I’ve been working on Jeeps for 20 years, I know what a bent rod sounds like.”

There’s not much protection for the consumer.

 

Sounds like that tech needs to work on cars for another 20 years to know what a bent rod sounds like
