I'm in Monmouth. Depending on what your looking to add I can probably help you or at least point you in the right direction.

 

So... how long ago were the head gaskets replaced? Repairs by Subaru outside of the basic or extended warranties are one year, unlimited miles.

Exhaust gas detector. Similar concept to a litmus test, but it's a blue liquid that changes color when combustion gasses are present. You remove the rad cap, put the tool in place of the cap, then squeeze the bulb while the engine is running.

yea I have been searching auto trader, auto tempest, and like 10 other sites. Ironically they all have the same ones. Sometimes there’s 1 random one not listed on others.

I don’t recognize that one in Watertown.

Head gaskets were done about 2 years ago.

a 4bt is hard to beat in reliability, and paid with a Toyota drivetrain with solid axles and you’re set.

Is that the ECGS tool or a generic one? And I'm not sure a generic one exists to get from a parts store. I might be wrong but I thought ecgs made the tool. Or is it a readily available tool they sell or include with their bushing? that would be a sweet rig. Not quite the snowboard trip highway cruiser I’m looking for though lol

I’ve only ever heard of the ecgs or home made pullers, never a auto store rental option.
