Just some el cheapo's off ebay. Im concerned about uv rays from the sun killing them. But im a believer now..., without those it would have been a multi step recovery with winches involved.

You should be fine. I had the MAXSA ones on my roof for a while. Only issue is, I melted them. But they worked.

Saw a Black DC 3rd Gen with a Tepui parked at Galaxy Toyota today when driving by. You on here? 1.) Watch out, Galaxy is sneaky, and 2.) WTF is up with your tent?

Anyone need a nice air compressor? The new shop is already setup with one so I won’t need mine.

    It’s this one:
    https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...stage-twin-cylinder-pro-air-compressor-60-gal

Mine has had a pretty easy life. It’s five years old, had the oil changed after the appropriate break in period, periodically since, tank always drained, and has been mainly used to run and impact and air up the occasional tire.

    $500

I would be all over that if it was a vertical tank.

@HolyHandGrenade I was wondering about the wall mounting system myself. How is the noise on that horizontal tank and has it damaged the structure it's mounted to? That much weight cantilevered can't be good. I'd also like to inquire about your ceiling door. Is that also for sale?

Next dibs on ceiling door, I’m hoping I can open it in the winter and get some sunlight in to keep my garage a little warmer

I think the way he velcroed everything to the wall to free up floor space is brilliant.

While @HolyHandGrenade is parting out his shop I’m still trying to bring it all together. What a slow and daunting process it is to build a shop and battle yourself over esthetics vs function. At what point do you stop making it look “nice” cuz you just wanna make more function things like a weld table, plumb 60gal compressor sitting in the corner, install the wood stove as it sits in the corner while burning propane. My brain is scattered and I keep jumping in between projects with no direction just trying to be productive in any way that helps the end goal. Doing these stairs shoulda been dealt with after floor epoxy last June. Well after jumbling random projects it’s done. This was some hardwood floor left at my house in the attic from the previous owner.. I reclaimed the oak flooring by removing the orange high gloss finish and made my own step nose to finish it off. Finished last night at 3am. I’m at the point where it looks good but doesn’t actually change a function in the garage so we’re my countless hours spent for no reason.. Hopefully not after getting through a few more aesthetic projects and then getting into the good stuff that’ll allow for bigger badass projects.

Looking good Jay. Your attention to detail is light years ahead of mine.

I’ll be setting up my new shop soon. It will be no where near as aesthetically pleasing as yours.

We bought all of the equipment, tools, tractors, golf carts, everything in the garage in a package deal. It’s going to be a full time job just going through it all.

Plus we need to build a barn, put up fencing, chicken coup, work on the house, etc.

    My lovely Wife wants Alpacas...

Another reason I’m selling my truck. I’m not going to have any time to use it anyway.
