touché. But I also know the risk I’m taking and know I’m not risking any other lives when I do. But I see your point.

I don’t know how long the tires have actually been on these wheels but at first they were given a good fight till I lubed the beads.. :D

The wheels have some good anodize corrosion a splotches of plastidip.. Gonna power wash then an see if some sanding can finish them off or look further into a sand blast system.

I was just thinking about the sand blaster. Forgot I have one somewhere in my garage. Bought years ago when my neighbor was teaching me how to etch glass with it.

There’s so many variables to that question. Size, length, wall thickness...

Good point. I've never bought steel before so not sure what I'd be looking for tbh.

I just had a 4x8 sheet, and a full length of 2” square tubing, and a full length of 2” angle delivered the other day. All 1/4” wall. It was $460 and change. The sheet was the most expensive thing. I don’t remember how it all broke down now.

Yupp sheet steel hurt the walker the most

@Tatts521 like anything else you save buying bulk. If you need 6’ lengths get 12’ and cut them down yourself. Joseph Fazzios in Howell is a metal supplier open to the public

That’s the small location in Howell too. Their main spot in glassboro is double the size

Not anymore. The small location was in Farmingdale. They built a new facility in Howell similar to the size of Glassboro. I miss the smaller location. That’s the one I always went to, it was like my local dive bar. The new location feels like Applebee’s or some corporate shit. I liked being able to walk in the back of the old one and see material in hand. New one they don’t let you anywhere near the material by 50 yards in a separate building. Still smell the paint drying and shelves aren’t fully stock. Two separate register area to check out, last time there I grabbed a tape measure.. walk to the one side pay for the tape and then walk to the other side pay for the steel. I actually was told to move my truck and trailer nose in to the curb line and wait for loading while sitting out of the way near the garage/warehouse. It’s lost a lot of homie vibes to me relocating...

The one in glassboro isn’t as strict
