Seems y’all like to show of your yard work. A couple of “oh shit, I hope that’s not too much weight” trips to the stone store in the truck and here is a flagstone patio I just finished at my moms house in Maine. I wonder how much stone dust weighs..

Most of the bears I’ve seen are pretty friendly, or they run away when you try to grab them

 

I'm going to do a 3 day solo trip this weekend. I'm thinking Vermont or the Adirondacks. I was looking at Somerset airfield VT. Anyone have a better recommendation?

 

Any plumbers here? Can someone tell me what the pipe after the p trap is called? Need a new one, bought a whole p trap kit but the arm isn't long enough

REI. Unless something changed w/in the past year, I bought a new can from them last fall before a trip.

 

I thought I saw it at bass pro shop, or that might've been the Delaware cabbalas

 

No bears yet..Just black flies.

 

lol, at least they're not the green flies you find down the shore. Those bitches HURT when they bite!

 

They're about the same. But you can avoid green flies if you don't go out during a west wind. These fuckers were just there and blood thirsty.

 

Fun fact: a horse fly will use its mandrills to rip open your flesh and bite you

Yep, definitely true.... but west winds are also good at keeping the waters calm, which is great for surfing. So it's a wash.

 

The black flies were biting through my socks. I've never had a green fly do that..
