the klx300 Kickstarter fits mine but it’s like a $300 part and you gotta tear the whole clutch basket apart to install. If I ever need a new clutch I’d probably do it at the same time.

If the engine on the wr250 is common to another 250 from Yamaha that has a kickstarter, it will likely bolt up.

The reason most don’t have that option is for weight savings. I’d rather the extra 2-3lbs of metal it takes to start manually than be stuck with a dead battery. Most of the reason they went to electric start is the same reason we have electric transfer cases...pansies.

He had a MIL for Cyl 1 misfire after that. There was muddy water dripping down his intake and his filter was damp. I think it's going to be more than a starter replacement but he drove it the rest of the day anyway.

it’s a Jeep thing, o_O. I always take caution on those puddles they are deceiving. I would have went out today but my AC in the truck has a leak and it would have literally been wheeling in hell in the cab lol

Well having electric start in my brothers case is more of a necessity since he was in a motorcycle accident last year and bike both arms and both legs and now hurts himself just trying to start a cr125. But he’s stubborn and has to have a dirt bike of some sort so he’s trying like hell to build his strength back

I do like instagram and I won't pretend I don't. But most of who follows me is friends and family.

What enrages me, to Chux's point is when people ask what they should do to their truck. How the fuck do you answer that for someone? Shows no intention of them actually using it or building it for themselves. It shouldn't piss me off as much as it does, but whatever.

We agree on something? It's going to snow.

I never understood this concept either. I have always built my truck for my personal uses with utility for the most part in mind. And if I did something "glam" like it's because I thought it looked cool, not because other people thought it looked cool. There isn't much on the truck that isn't purpose built and has been rethought multiple times to improve after each trip, or because my end goals have changed.
