Been researching all about the new AT3s line up. They look good

 

I spent an hour driving around @Tatts521 neck of the woods trying to get home from work today. Every road I turned down was either blocked off or had a fallen tree

 

Dumb storm is dumb.

 

was down there last week. Shame they closed it, the view was great. Buzzard hill road has some nice picnic areas, ponds, and cabins too, close to apple pie hill. Lots of wide dirt roads you can cruise through in that area. Martha’s furnace further south is kinda neat too.

 

hate this storm. Hate AC electric even more. Haven’t had power since 10am yesterday. Told them there was a few trees on the power lines when we bought the house a couple months ago. They said the would take care of them. They never came out and the branch hit a transformer and blew it. We saw it happen. It was the biggest green spark I’ve ever seen

 

Up my way they gave up on preventative maintenance, the power/phone companies just say “call us back when the wires are on the ground”

 

It’s summer time, cut some slack

 

Lol! We got our power back. Dude came out cut a few branches then did something to the transformer and it's back on

 

mine was out for around 8 hours yesterday, lots of damage and lines tripped out on faults.

 

Still have no power in my area.

 

Same. Looks like it won't be back until Fri- Sun.

 

They are claiming 5-8 days in my zone. Seems like the boilerplate response.

Spent the day battling with the old generator my landlord left to die in the garage for these emergency scenarios. Basement basically built over a river, so yeah we need power for the sump pump ASAP.
Then I remembered my generator on wheels. Worked for that and making strawberry daiquiris after.

 

No bueno. I see marlboro has more outages then freehold boro and township combined

 

Been surfing the last few days down in Manasquan and power was still out at the traffic lights as of last night. For once my part of town didnt lose power in a storm.

 

My power is still out since tuesday around noon. My neighborhood has generators running all night

 

Same here, but I shut mine down at night. Thank God I bought one years ago. We lost power tues about 11:00am and we’re hearing it might not be back on until next tues. At least I have plenty of gas cans and gas has been easy to get.

 

But but but king Murphy is saying all of new jersey will have power by tomoro at the latest...
