Anyone interested in a 1997 Polaris 400L Sport? Oil injected 2 stroke. Quite fast with a bunch of aftermarket accessories like lights, saddle bags, rear cargo rack, etc.
$2500 takes it. Title in hand.

PSA. Had my garage cabinet fall off the wall while opening it and a bench grinder stored on top came down a cracked me from my eye to top of my ear. A few things led to this.. 1, the “garage cabinet” I got on FB market place was a garage style cabinet but made cheap with particle board, locking corner toggles, and dowels but no glue. 2, I hug the cabinet a while ago with a 45° cleat but never anchored it. 3, everything stored inside was light but stored a bench grinder and bench sander on the top. It held up for so long never thought nothing of how I slapped it up. But now I rebuilt the cabinet reusing the doors and made sure to anchor it to the wall. Pretty much went from failure to over engineered..

Elaborate? Sounds like something that can be done using a bolt you shouldn’t be using and an impact.

 

Sounds aluminum. Good reason to get a tap set.
Clean the threads out manually, don’t use a drill.

 

Happened at like midnight and after finding a rag to stop the bleeding to go in the house, all I was thinking “ FUCK this ain’t good, don’t wake up the kids, think I need stitches.. wife is gonna be pissed”. Didn’t need stitches but the swelling and bruising were real. Honestly lucked out it wasn’t worse. Bench grinder is garbage and the Eastwood bench sander is tweaked but doesn’t seem shot.

 

thanks I am pumped, I dont mind the grey either it was more the orange that I was never in love with, its kinda weird not having something red, blue, green or black... I didnt give it much thought I just kinda said fuck it Ill take that one. this was a very impulsive purchase to take my mind of my dog who is gonna die soon

i recently signed up over on advrider.com and see BGR is pretty active over there these days
there is a decent amount of TW members over there actually, and a ton of other toyota owners as well

Reaction wise. I opened the cabinet door to put something away, I got the door half open and realized it was tipping off the wall so closed the door thinking maybe I can hold it up against the wall, but it tipped so much before I pushed it back the bench grinder came off the top and clobbered me from like 9’ up. All within 2 secs haha

Watched the beginning. Seems like they are making an example of them..
