Yes. I still don't know what those front vibes are or where they're coming from. Going to have tires/tire balance/alignment checked this weekend, hopefully it's something simple.

Lower your coilovers and see if that helps! Your cvs are probably crying!

Unless the vibrations have gotten worse I wouldn't worry about them. My truck has worse vibrations just from the tread of my tires. But I do have some vibes that I can't figure out.

It's an inch higher than what yours was at, but it was also on the slight incline of your driveway so who knows :notsure:

Either way it could probably be lowered slightly

not 5", I want to say 4".. it was were my truck was with the 1/4" spacers up front & my CV's were binding with them so they came out immediately.

Can barely count to it too! :D

This is why I wanted your opinion. I don't know what a binding CV feels like, or if it's the needle bearing, or whatever. All I know is that the vibrations weren't there until after my last tire rotation about a month ago.

if it's the needle bearing you can do the 4wd check; if the vibe goes away when you put it in 4hi it's most likely the needle bearing (according to front end vibe thread & my personal experience)

as far as cv's binding, as soon as I moved the truck I could hear a "clank" from the front end & there was some resistance while moving from a stop. I immediately pulled back into the garage & took the spacers out. problem solved

I'm not really a fan of DB lift, but I guess those size tires make up for the lost clearance. If I remember correctly, he ended up breaking his rear diff that day.

    lol

Ya, that would be the theory... I think something like a 3" DB and then a 3" suspension lift may be the best of both worlds.

I tried the 4wd check but the results are inconclusive at best. Feels like the vibe is a little better but not completely gone. Plus it only happens right around 20 mph and is gone by around 30mph.

I've been listening for noises from the front but so far nothing. There is a slight vibration from a stop but it's coming from under the seat and I think it's the carrier bearing. I installed the OME CB drop and it's a little better but not completely gone.

Anyway, I'll probably lower the front slightly. Truck sits mostly level right now but I like to have a slight rake

I'd be down for something like that, probably go only saturday and stay till sunday or something maybe. It will motivate me to fix my locker.
