looking good over there, any reason you went with a lunette ring?

 

First thought was a pintle hitch offered more articulation if needed than a standard ball hitch. And to maybe look into a lock and roll hitch. But just after the few times having the trailer hitched up and seeing too much movement and imagining all the banging on trail, lock and roll will happen sooner than later..

 

that’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure. Makes sense. It def will allow articulating over a standard ball hitch but at the cost of all that noise, time for a louder radio lol. Good thing you got the channel mount so it should be an easy swap.

Yea exactly. I thought I was gonna have to cut off the hitch mount and start over for a lock and roll but I found an adjustable height application to suit. Gonna go adjustable height on the truck side also to tow the trailer with my truck and wife’s 4Runner at stock height

 

LMAO! Free is for me! I dont need a powerful blower anyway, thats what my wife is for

 

yea this is a steal of a price

pretty sure the ute small trey for the taco short bed is in fact like 5.9 or 6.0 feet though...

And I built a two way swivel hitch for my quad trailer..





With all the fabrication work I’ve been doing on the trailer and other projects been getting kinda burnt out on it. Said and done and super clean think I’m just gonna order the lock and roll.
