Love those things. Miss my Disco 2. Not the repair bills... lol.

Seriously though, nothing drove like that thing. It just felt all kinds of right. Shame I never took it off pavement. Couldn't trust it.

 

It was a bit of a mess when I got it. Google, youtube, and the GAP iid tool help a lot. This has a solid drivetrain, unlike the disco 2. If you can keep the electronics in check it's pretty reliable. I did some suspension testing yesterday to see if I could get it to break traction or bottom out. It's like driving a cloud on washboard roads.

 

you do the johnson rods yet?

nah. I’m happy with the suspension and I’d have to trim. Maybe one day but if I go a centimeter higher I’m not getting it in the garage either.

They really are like that. I've heard people refer to the Discoverys as leather fortresses.
