Figured I'd ask here first since it's the NJ thread. I recently installed a Victory Rack and have the OEM rails available. I think 150 is fair for them? Been on the truck for 15k miles.

 

Gun socks don’t tie and its a legal case. We can argue this til the cows come home. You can also disassemble the gun and then don’t need a case at all. Like I said I im coming or going from hunting 24/7 so guns always in the truck. Or on the boat. In a case or sock depending on where im going. You can hunt certain things in this state year round.

Til now, I never had interest for or owned anything easy to conceal. I recently got something compact in anticipation for it.
Now I'm in the process of getting proficient with it. Going from full frame to compact is a bit challenging for me. (I think most people)

why not carry a full frame? Its definitely a change shooting a compact if youve only ever shot full sized. I have a CZP07 and a Ruger LC9Spro. For me the biggest part of a conceal carry weapon is no extra steps before firing.


No safety not cocking a hammer no racking a round. Just draw aim squeeze. As you learn more tactical shooting youll be able to shoot and put rounds on target before actually extending to aim.

I dont think full frame is practical for "me" in terms concealability and confort. Anything is posible with the right holster/set up, but "most" people that "conceal" full frame are limited in some way or another:
-Concealability because gun size to carrier size
-Limitation on certain type of clothing(another aspect of Concealability)
-Comfort
-Mobility,
-Safety (around and picking up infants, or getting the hardware snag on things)
-Weight

Also, what does frame-size have to do with extra steps?
If you become proficient with your hardware there is no extra steps
