    That's where it is in the first gen Tacoma too but there is a tube that takes it slightly up the fender some. I actually continued mine into my cowl near my windshield before I got a dorkel.

    Though it was nowhere near as bad as one we did later that had water come up onto my windshield that we didn't get on video. The dip scared the fuck out of us and I had water coming in where the steering shaft is.

    The condensation on the windshield is from the water going that high.
