Does anyone actually know why NJ forces attendants to pump gas?

 

How I approach them:

create low value jobs for folks who have minimal skills, our fearless leaders consider this helping the economy.

note if you have a diesel at most places it is self serve.

 

So only NJ and OR require those low level jobs. Makes complete sense!

Anyone in/around Egg Harbor Township NJ that could pick up some leaf springs and hold them for me? Not super long, but maybe a week or 2

Tuning is just a 3rd gen thing right? What’s different about them that makes it so they can be tuned?

 

It started out as a 3rd Gen thing due to the ‘gear hunting’ out of the factory. The tune eliminates the gear hunt so the truck drives normal. We have branched out into 2nd Gens, 4Runners and Tundras.
Your 3rd Gen feels like a different truck once tuned, night and day difference.
The tune also increases HP and torque but that’s not why I tuned my truck, just an added bonus. You ‘should’ see an mpg increase… ‘should’. That’s very subjective to driving habits.

 

All the more reason to avoid a slushbox!

I love MT’s but the DCLB is the only configuration which MT is not an option

 

I don’t understand the love for a manual in the Tacoma. Only justification I could come up with was the “save the manuals” argument.

Auto is superior imo (at least in the Tacoma).
