@Wheelspinner and I did it in 2016 and it rusted from the inside out to the metal he welded on and I didn’t treat in the rocker cavity.

 

I haven't wheeled in a couple years I also have been getting my truck together to do some wheeling this spring.

 

my truck needs SERIOUS love if it will ever wheel again. Probably won’t

 

Yeah I use a lot of my “me time” doing motorcycle events these days but my son did his first camping trips last year (I think we got 5 in) and his first rock crawling trip last fall so I think he’s ready for a day at rausch. Excited to get in the rocks again with him.

been kicking around the idea of selling and buying an f150. Ive shifted gears in my life.
Might keep and eventually buy another truck. Just not sure yet.

 

if you want your truck to shift gears, a ford is probably not for you.

It’s a shame, because Ford makes a nice vehicle.

 

I’ll keep my 20 year old turd, the newer stuff is junk.

My buddies 2wd f150 he’s been dealing with intermittent misfire for 2 months.

And my other friends f1shitty has had some driveline challenges

 

But the Ford stuck in first will still accelerate faster than a Tacoma on the highway.
