I had this exact scenario. It was one of the hub bolts that backed itself out.

 

thats a good thing to check Ill get under today and take a look. I didn’t really think about that.

 

I've played that game before, had to disassemble my front end on a trail in remote AZ

 

I’m in the process of dropping a transmission today. It’s fun when every bolt is seized

On an E250. Making a noise and I think it’s a cracked flex plate. Only way to actually check is to pull the transmission.

Unfortunately the nuts holding the torque converter to the flex plate are not only egged, but 2 are both seized and rounded. No idea how to get them off. I can barely fit a wrench in there let alone anything else

 

Oof that sucks. Iv never pulled an auto trans in these trucks, only 6 speeds and they arent too bad

 

Dropping trans ain’t no big deal but ain’t much fun when bolts are rusty. Finished this up yesterday

 

Got the nuts off the torque converter. Turns out the flex plate is perfect. No idea where the noise is coming from. Also pretty much spilled all the trans fluid all over the driveway.

Totally ruined my week

 

i just recently switched to wix gold from rock auto but if youre going to get rid of it Ill put it to use on my truck.

 

Decided to take my supercharged truck out yesterday before the roads inevitably get salted. Was pulling out of my driveway when my girlfriend says, "hey, your red truck has a flat.". Got home and pulled the wheel to find a giant nail. Tried plugging it eventho it was near the edge but the nail was in at a weird angle and the plug didnt hold. Of course this tire model and size is on national backorder and none of my local go to spots had it in stock. Luckily, I think I found the last new one from some random seller on Amazon. That was a close one, almost had to buy all new wheels and tires lol

 

Caught a video of one of them drone things. I’m in and around aircraft a lot and am also a drone pilot, so I can say with confidence it definitely wasn’t a plane.
It was about the size of a Honda civic and moving super slow and low. Wish I had something better than my phone with me.
