    Something similar applies to the Icons also. DSM has the Icons built to work with the Dakars and it's different enough from the regular extended travel shocks that you have to ask them to do it. Definitely check with them before you order, or you might find yourself needing to order another set of shocks later to work with the Dakars.

    ahhh good ol used suspension. Yea live and learn. I got burned by it. Never again will I buy anything used like that or electronics. When Chris and I swapped thirds I could look at his bearings, fluid, and the gears. With suspension or electronics you are clueless as to whats inside or how they were treated.

    Mine did look like that for the longest time because it started to seep last year. The seal finally gave out making a mess of the frame, leaf spring, wheel, tire and it was dripping all over the driveway. When I took it off I notice something must of came a part inside because it will only compress about an inch. I am pretty sure all the fluid that was in it cleaned the outside off.:eek:
