My mesh is .063 thick and aluminum that is powder coated matte black.

Grillcraft mesh is also .063 but it is steel and coated with a gloss black rubberized finish similar to the plastic used on tool handles.

still working on mine it's taking forever I might be going dual e55 and dual H1 = 4 low beams since I have a chance to get e55s on the cheap

 

So hunter.... Some aluminum alloys can be harder than low grade steel...but usually steel is harder than aluminum..... so your observation on dented mesh theory may be wrong

This.. my gc has zero dents. 5 years old with over 80k on it. Also 99.9% sure its stainless steel dipped in rubber.

and I got my CBI ditch light brackets (by the mirrors) waiting to go on. That's gonna be close to 50000 lumens on the front and I ordered two little 6 diode bars for the back that i;m gonna mount inside the windshield as stealth reverse/get off my ass lights.

Gear wrenches are the shit. I bought a set on BF and they paid for themselves when I did my suspension overhaul. The TREDs look hardcore, you'll put them to use im sure.

SSD or bust. I had 2 hard drives fail on me last year during crunch time and made sure I got a computer with an SSD (macbook) since mine died.

 

Eh, I probably like the idea of having it more than I would actually use it.

Ouch! I'm going to put my old SSD into my media box, and then take the old SSD from that machine and use it for music/movies in my truck. I have a regular hard drive in there now and when the temp drops below 20 degrees it doesn't want to spin up.
