4x innovations website says $205 for weld ons, $450 for bolt ons...

 

How much will it cost to get them welded on?

To me, I'd rather pay the extra money to DIY and not have to shlep those bishes to a welder. plus I got a free T shirt

Funny you should mention that, my grandfather also passed me down one of them as well.

I'm coming from 305/60r18 Terra Grapplers. Those were 57lbs each, not LT (not P either which is weird) with about 13/32" tread. They were good tires, lasted about 40k. After reading a ton of reviews, the S/T Maxx seems like a better all around tire.

So far I like them. I've only had them on for almost 2 weeks though. I have 285/75r16. Quiet on road, only weight 60lbs, which isn't bad for the amount of tread there is (about 18/32"). A little stiff, but they are E rated. Haven't had a chance to offroad or drive in deep snow yet.

 

yea i want stt's in 35's but i'm waiting to see how another member does with them first.

bolt ons are more expensive than weld on, but you don't have to pay for installation with bolt on. I don't know what most people pay to get their sliders welded on, but the only shop I trust to weld on my truck i'd be paying a few hundred dollars. grade 8 bolts and a good design are stronger than a shitty weld from someone who doesn't know what their doing. Mine are demello and obviously mine are the longest ones you can get since I'm a dclb, and their bolt on with absolutely no deflection when i lift from them. solid as fuck but pricey.

you're lucky yours are cheaper.

I know my truck can't handle much more than blue's but I'm down to check stuff out. I had a blast on blue's and greens but I feel that will be boring to some of you guys.
