    Has it really been this cold out that my parking brake freezes so much that inorder to move I have to put the truck in 4wd ? Or is it something else? Only seems to be happening when im going back to my truck after work and I park on a steep hill and have to back up each time and I hear a loud bang and then the truck moves

    Not really any puddles and the last time I drove in water was sunday at stokes but everything else has been normal salt water roads lol

    Yea my rear tire was just spinning on the snow in the yard... then put 4wd hear a load bang and then started to go... but it dont happenes in the am going to work... maybe it is the parking brake freezing

    Sounds like strain on the drive train.

    When you come to a stop on a hill it is imperative you: press the brakes firmly, apply the e-brake, then put the truck into park.

    When starting up the truck to move it from a hill: press brakes firmly, release e-brake, take truck out of park.

    Most people put their trucks into park take their foot off the brakes and the truck slides back putting pressure on the transmission then apply the e-brake. This puts strain on the drive train and causes a clunk - hopefully that's all that you have going on.

    & hopefully I explained that so it's understandable. I had the same exact issues.

    Lift, 32" Duratracs, sliders, LED light bar, interior LEDs, sweet tunes & sub, OBA, sliders, TRD 16" 6 spoke wheels, CB, HID spotlights, electrical mods, etc.
    If it's like mine, 4x14mm bolts on the brackets, don't let it hit you in the face, 2x17mm bolts for the end links on the spindle, bam, 15 minutes, don't even need to pull a wheel.

    Thats what I do... I go to park stop apply brake put in park apply ebrake then release brake... when leaving I apply brake release ebrake put in reverse and it was spinning so I pressed brake put 4wd on and then hit.gas and then the bang then started to move

    Didnt put 4wd on while the tire was spinning... I held the brake down nd then did it but I know the type of bamg yourtalking about with thw 4wd... it wasnt that the past two times
